Thank
you for visiting my web site; this will show you a few examples
of my work.
I progressed to making fine furniture about fifteen years ago
after serving my time as a carpenter and joiner; I have been
working with wood for over thirty years. During this time I
have amassed a great deal of experience and grown to love wood
as a material.
The physical challenges, disciplines and problem solving
of construction work and joinery have proved invaluable in meeting
the quite different challenges of making fine furniture.
Most of my work is to commission, producing a variety of fitted
or freestanding furniture and individual bespoke joinery items.
Recent commissions have included an altar table, chair,
legilium and candlesticks for Merton College, Oxford.
I work mainly in South and Mid Devon, particularly in the Chagford
and Dartmoor area where I have an excellent reputation
for the quality of my work. Many of my clients are regulars
who come back to me year after year; in fact, many have become
firm friends.
Navigate to the comments section to see brief excerpts from the many
letters of appreciation I have received.
Please browse my website via the links and feel free to contact me at any time to discuss any
ideas or requirements you may have.
